There are some that belong to the classic titles that are in the SEGA Forever catalog, where games from the past Mega Drive are brought together, although there are others that contain more current mechanics and content. Let’s see what each one is about.
Sonic The Hedgehog
We start with a legend in the world of video games. A title to run at lightning speed by 7 classic zones while collecting Rings and defeating all enemies in the mission to save the world from the evil Dr. Eggman. In addition to the classic game, it has exclusive content such as a Time Attack mode, as well as the option to play with other versions of Sonic.
Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Classic
The sequel to the first installment. Dr. Eggman has returned to his old ways and is trying to find the seven Chaos Emeralds to finally complete his ultimate weapon, the Death Egg. In this adventure that has identical graphic quality, we will have to rely on the help of other characters such as Tails or Knuckles to defeat him.
Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode II
In one of its latest installments, we once again have an adventure in 2D although with more refined graphics and similar to those that arise today. We have several characters to play, such as Sonic, Tails or Metal Sonic, with a very interesting subplot. Metal Sonic has colluded with Dr. Eggman. This sinister duo have come together at Little Planet to build a new Death Egg based on this location.
Sonic CD Classic
The player travels to the distant shores of Never Lake to witness the annual appearance of Little Planet, a mysterious world where the creation of Metal Sonic will take place. The 16: 9 screen, the achievements, the leaderboards and the original Japanese soundtrack lure us into an adventure that takes us back to the 90s.
Sonic dash
Drive Sonic in this endless runner, where we will have to run, jump, turn and make our way through impressive 3D scenarios and obstacles that await us. We can use impulses or shortcuts, as well as power-ups to check how far we got with the hedgehog on the level, all through gestures.
Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom
The second installment of Sonic Dash is the same or more fantastic than the first Amazing new worlds in 3D, challenges and ways to play. Play as Sonic the Hedgehog, plus Tails, Amy, Knuckles, and new friend Sticks. It has a team game mode to participate with up to three different characters.
Sonic Forces: Speed Battle
Another of the Sonic games in which we have to run at full speed, although we must use more ingenuity. Apart from running, we must place traps or attack our rivals, since they are multiplayer races. Much emphasis is placed on being able to play with other characters such as Amy, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, among others.
Sonic at the Olympic Games: Tokyo 2020
It was the official game of the organization to bring the Olympic Games to life in the sector of the small screen of the smartphone, once again with Sonic as protagonist. In the title, we find up to 15 playable disciplines and the experience of exploring the city of Tokyo. Of course, the game created by SEGA is divided into phases, of which 10 will be free while the rest are accessed by paying.
Sonic Jump Pro
A game to jump, jump and jump without stopping for all floating platforms. It allows us to pursue the same objective, which is to collect rings in the maximum amount possible, until we fall because of the difficulty. However, we also have battles against iconic villains and mythical scenarios of the saga, although it is paid.
Sonic Runners Adventure – Action Platform
Gameloft meddles in SEGA’s dominance to come up with its own title. It offers an adventure very similar to the first editions, although obviously with different graphics, more current and refined. We will face Dr. Eggman in 4 mythical places of the saga, with the possibility of playing with various characters. Once again, we are faced with a paid game.
