In Spain we have seen a 2020 in which practically all the flagships took a jump in prices, many of them approaching 1000 euros, a band that very few are willing to pay for a smartphone, however spectacular they are (and with reason).
This has been an opportunity to create high-end mobiles that, despite still being high in prices, are much more consistent in relation to their characteristics. One of the ones we liked the most this year is the Galaxy S20 FE, a terminal that aspires to be one of the best of the year. It seems that Samsung is aware of its success, and would be preparing a similar version of the Galaxy Note 20.
Galaxy Note 20 FE would be the last great Samsung mobile for this year
One of the surprises of the year has been the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition, a terminal that has made the appropriate cuts with respect to its more premium brothers to consolidate itself as a cheaper alternative but that remains positioned in the high range.
This terminal would not be the only Fan Edition mobile, since it seems that multiple references about a Galaxy Note 20 FE have started to appear on the Samsung website. These references could be due to a typographical error, but it does not seem unreasonable if we consider that last year we had reduced versions of both the Galaxy S10 and the Note 10.
On a personal level, I found the Galaxy Note 20 a disappointing team due to the fact that Samsung decided to make restrictions on the build and screen quality (which is flat and 60 Hz) to “offer a more affordable Galaxy Note experience” according to statements from Samsung, so that later that more affordable price would end up being 959 euros for the cheapest 4G version.
I am not sure what restrictions they will put on the Galaxy Note 20 Fan Edition, but we hope that it will not happen as with the Note 10 Lite, a terminal that it would end up replacing in the portfolio, a device that had a previous generation processor.
The entry After the great Galaxy S20 FE, Samsung would be finalizing a Galaxy Note 20 FE appears first in The Free Android.
