In recent months we have seen how the ecosystem of smart watches has been growing little by little. There are new models with Wear OS that promise to fight against the Samsung or Apple models. An example is the new TicWatch Pro 3 GPS.
There are also other smartwatches with fewer functions but much more autonomy, such as the new Amazfit GTR 2 and GTS 2 that we have already confirmed would arrive in Spain.
The one that seems to be very calm in this sector was Xiaomi, which although it had presented more than one watch of its own, did not seem to want to continue the race, at least in this segment of the market.

This watch, as its name suggests, would be a shortened version of the firm’s current smartwatch, but it could be something more.

For months now, there has been speculation about the possibility that Redmi, Xiaomi’s family of low-cost mobiles and accessories, will release a smart watch.
This Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite could be exactly that, a watch that had more limited features in exchange for a lower price. In fact, similar documents have been leaked in China pointing to the October launch of a smartwatch under the Redmi brand.
It could be the same watch, different models, the same device with different names for different markets … Either way, let’s hope they reach international markets.
