We recently saw the problems faced by Microsoft with the update February cumulative Windows 10, 1903 and 1909. An update is recognized by the american company and produced a bug and a new bug.
The problem was solved with the release of a new build for Windows 10 with the patch KB4554364, designed for computers that use Windows 10 in version 1909 and 1903. An update that solved the error of VPN and that in turn presents another problem, in this case giving a fault with the Wifi of the computer.
Problem with the Wifi
The threads in the Microsoft community increase detailing problems left by the patch KB4554364. Apparently it is causing a problem with the Wifi connection and throws the following error message on the screen:
- Socket Error 0 × 2200021
- c:/windows/sywow64/appidpolicyengineApi.dll, instruction cannot be read
For now Microsoft has not acknowledged the existence of this bug in the support page, so that we are waiting for an official solution. And meanwhile, the users who are affected by this new ruling, will not have more remedy than to proceed with the uninstalling the update with the patch KB4554364.
If you are affected by this update, one option may be to uninstall it. To do this it is necessary to turn to the path “Configuration”, “Update and security” and within the same press in “View update history”. The next step happens by using the option “Uninstall updates” by checking the update KB4515384 and then by clicking on the button “Uninstall”.
