Vivo is one of the most innovative brands in the mobile technology market. The manufacturer, which will arrive in Spain in a few days, has some of the most spectacular designs and the most striking functions on its smartphones.
It was the first company to implement a fingerprint sensor under the screen. It was also the first to implement a gimbal on a mobile.
And now you want to be the first to use a detachable phone camera system. At the moment it is a prototype.
Vivo wins a Red Dot Award
The Red Dot Award for Concept Design was recently awarded, and the winner was Vivo for its detachable camera design.
The idea is simple: the camera module hides inside the mobile with a motorized system, like the one we have seen in many mobiles. The novelty is that it can be disassembled as it is connected by magnets.
By having a small battery of its own, it is possible to use it independently to put it where we want, from a high place to a pet. Remember, saving the distances, to what we do with the Go Pro.
The lens module is replaceable and in the prototype shown by Vivo there is a fisheye lens, a wide angle, a telephoto and a normal sensor.
We hope to see you commercially
As we have made clear, it is an innovative design that Vivo has not yet planned to bring to a massive mobile, but that we could see in the future since it is clear the type of advantages that this would have.
Not only could we use mobile cameras as triggers for selfies, but we could put them in impossible places.
The entry A mobile with a detachable camera: Vivo has made it a reality appears first in The Free Android.
