The questions at this point are many: will the screen go dark? What will happen to the internal components? For now, only curiosity remains to understand what the Korean giant has in mind for the future

One more step towards the mobile phones of the future, futurists we would dare to say. Samsung is thinking of the smartphone with transparent screen. Do you know those devices that until now it was only possible to see in science fiction movies? In the near future they could be more than ordinary objects. The Korean giant has already filed the patent and engineers are already working to develop a technology that at this time still leaves some perplexity.

Smartphone with transparent screen: doubts

A smartphone with a fully transparent screen, in fact, could make it very complex, for example, to read or write messages, navigate, even find the right contact to call. Samsung is probably thinking yes to a transparent screen, but capable of being darkened to facilitate its use in particular light and environmental contexts.

Of course, the technology should also be “futuristic.” It is difficult to imagine, to date, where all Internal components, which still take up space and have their own physicality. Difficult to make them disappear or relegate them to a hypothetical external framework. Samsung, however, has filed a patent for its transparent screen cell phone, and it’s easy to imagine that it will have hired competent engineers to try to make what seems like a dream come true today. Or at least a solution that is difficult to apply to a mobile device like a cell phone. What we know about the smartphone of the future is that:

  • will have transparent screen
  • is in study
  • Samsung has filed the patent
