The current war in which the streaming platforms but also the Hollywood greats find themselves does not seem to be contained anytime soon. On the contrary, next month we will see how one of the most anticipated movements arrives in Spain (with permission from HBO Max).
We refer to the 90-degree turn (not a radical change) that Disney Plus will make by integrating a new vertical to its platform, which will join the Disney classics, the Star Wars and Marvel franchises or the National documentaries Geographic.
Star arrives at Disney Plus in Spain on February 23
A few weeks ago the company announced that in 2021 it would raise the prices of its plans in our country, but that in return, as would happen in other markets, it would include new content. And it will not be little.
Instead of just focusing on a few series or movies I was going to create a new category in the app called Star. Under that brand we would have new content, more adult, that until now we had not seen in the service. In this way it was closer to Amazon Prime Video, Netflix or HBO.

Today it has been confirmed that the change will be the 23 of February, when the monthly fee increase also occurs. Of course, current customers will continue to pay the same until August.
New and classic series on Star
Among the new series we see in the trailer titles such as Love victor and Big sky, while among the classics we see scenes of 24h, Desperate Housewives, Lost, How I Met Your Mother, Die Hard or Family Guy.
In addition, in the trailer published on the Disney Spain YouTube channel we see how parental control is mentioned, something that will be more important than ever given that the content that is released will not always be for all audiences.
