Well, it would be nothing other than the messages. It would be treated in a way that we can activate or deactivate in conversations, and that would help the messages to self-destruct when they are read. Its operation would be the following in four points, according to Facebook itself:

  1. The messages disappear once they are read:If everyone in the conversation has seen the message, it will disappear the moment you close the chat.
  2. Swipe up to change mode:You can leave this mode active all the time, or just use it whenever you want.
  3. This mode is shared: TheVanish Mode it is common for all chat users. If someone activates it, it is activated for everyone in the conversation and vice versa.
  4. Conversations can be reported:If someone reports the conversation, the missing messages will be included in the report for up to 14 days after they have been viewed.
    • This means that Facebook would keep these messages for two weeks for any situation.

This new mode of messages is beginning to be deployed first for users in the United States and as the weeks go by it should reach everyone, so we will keep you informed as we receive new information.
