Sometimes, sometimes due to technical problems, sometimes due to other types of failures, the WiFi connection in our home may stop working. Or, if we are away from home, we may not be able to have a reliable or stable WiFi connection. Luckily, if you have an Android smartphone you can make it become a wireless router what to carry in your pocket. The process is much simpler than it seems, as you will see below. If you follow all the steps that we are going to give you in this article, you shouldn’t have any problem having a portable WiFi connection in your pocket.
How to connect to the Internet through your Android device
First of all, go to Settings> Network and Internet. Click here Wi-Fi zone / Share connection:

Within this section, click on WiFi access point:

You will see the following:

Within this menu you can configure different parameters, such as the name of the network and the access password, if necessary. If it is not, click on the upper slider to activate the access point. It will be as we show you below:

If you now want to connect to the access point of your terminal through a computer, go to the wireless networks center of your PC and you will see that the one of your phone appears:

To connect to it, enter the password you have defined (as you would with any other wireless network). Once the connection has been established, you will be able to browse the Internet with your PC using the mobile data rate of your Android, as if it were a router.
