The realme range of phones continues to grow apace. The brand presented the realme 7 and 7 Pro last week in Spain, its new mid-range. Now they leave us with a new family of phones, also within their mid-range. These are the realme Q2, Q2 Pro and Q2i. A mid-range with 5G connectivity.

Last week there was some leak about these phones, but It was today when these new realme Q2, Q2 Pro and Q2i have been presented officially. The brand leaves us with a mid-range with good specifications and 5G connectivity at low prices.

The new mid-range with 5G

This new mid-range of the brand stands out for the presence of 5G connectivity, thanks to the use of MediaTek processors. Both the realme Q2 and Q2 Pro use MediaTek Dimensity 800U as a processor. While the realme Q2i uses MediaTek Dimensity 720, as this phone has the same specifications as the previously introduced realme V3. This makes them present themselves as mid-range models with balanced performance.

The front design is different between models, although the realme Q2 and Q2 Pro share a perforated screen, which allows you to make the most of said front, the Q2i makes use of a notch in the shape of a drop of water in this case. The Pro model has the smallest screen, 6.4 inches, while the other two use a 6.5-inch panel.

The battery is another aspect to consider in them. The realme Q2 and Q2i have a 5,000 mAh capacity battery, although the normal model has a fast charge of 30W and the Q2i stays at 18W. The Pro model has the smallest battery of all, with 4,300 mAh capacity, but it stands out for its spectacular 65W fast charge. In this way, it equates to the realme 7 Pro in this fast charge within the mid-range.

As for the cameras, the realme Q2 and Q2 Pro have practically the same combination of sensors: 48 Mpx main, 8 Mpx ultra wide angle and a third 2 Mpx sensor, which in the normal model is a macro sensor and in the Pro model it is a depth sensor. In both cases, its front camera is 16 Mpx. In the Q2i, we find a main sensor of 13 Mpx, a macro of 2 Mpx and a black and white of 2 Mpx as well.

Price and availability

This new range of phones has been made official in China and at the moment nothing is known about its launch in Europe. Probably in a few weeks there will be more data on the matter about the brand’s plans in this regard and we will know if they will reach Spain or not. In the case of China, their prices have already been confirmed:

He realme Q2 It will be released in two versions (4/128 GB and 6/128 GB) priced in China at 1,299 yuan and 1,399 yuan, respectively. At the change they are about 165 and 175 euros.

The realme Q2 Pro will also arrive in two versions different (8/128 GB and 8/256 GB), whose confirmed prices in China are 1,799 and 1,999 yuan, respectively. The change is 225 and 252 euros, depending on the desired version.

The most modest of the three, the realme Q2i, goes on sale in a single version of RAM and storage, priced at 998 yuan, which they are one 125 euros.
