It was in spring when Microsoft announced Visual Studio 2022. An application that was announced at that time, should arrive throughout the summer in the form of a test, opting to make the leap to 64 bits, as Microsoft has already done with other applications. And a few months later, Visual Studio already has a specific release date.
Microsoft has announced that Visual Studio 2022 will be released on November 8. A tool that allows developers to create web applications or web services in any environment that supports the .NET platform. A tool available for Windows, Linux and macOS operating systems.
Available November 8
Visual Studio was released in 1997 and is an application that has both free and paid versions. It supports programming languages, such as C ++, C #, Visual Basic .NET, F #, Java, Python, Ruby, and PHP.
Microsoft has announced that Visual Studio will arrive on November 8, 2021 and at the same time has reported the availability of Visual Studio 2022 Release Candidate (RC) and of the Preview 5. Additionally, the RC version comes with a start-up license, for production use.

Remember that Visual Studio 2022 will arrive with a revamped user interface, with new icons, Cascadia Code support, and a new fixed-width font to improve readability. In the case of macOS, Visual Studio will use the native user interface. These are some of the improvements to come:
- Compatibility with .NET 6, the Microsoft framework that allows you to create web, desktop and mobile applications for multiple operating systems.
- Support for .NET MAUI and ASP.NET Blazor.
- C ++ Tool Support 20, last year’s revision of the C ++ language standard.
- Enhancements to the Intellicode engine AI to detect potential code problems in real time.
- Integration with Accessibility Insights, a tool that allows detecting accessibility problems in applications.
- The collaboration function ‘Live Share’ will integrate a text chat.
- Additional support for Git and GitHub.
- Improved code search.
