The updates of the mobile tend to be organized and scheduled in function of several parameters. This makes upgrading a whole, and in all probability, happen again the following year.
This is what has happened with the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite and the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, two terminals that were updated at the same time last year to Android 9, and are now receiving to the vz Android 10.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite and Xiaomi Mi Max 3 receive MIUI 11
As feature in XDA Developers, these two models are the last, for the time being, to receive the latest version of Google’s operating system. This update does not comes alone and that is in addition to Android 10 will receive MIUI 11, an interface that has been with us quite a few months, but until now had not stepped foot in these models.
The versions of software that are coming through FOTA (firmware Ove The Air) is the MIUI V11.0.1.0.QEDMIXM for the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 and the MIUI V11.0.1.0.QDTMIXM for the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite.
Both are also receiving the security patch of the month of February. It is not the last but it is a change with respect to what had up to now.
As always, these updates will arrive in a staggered way to the different markets in which they have been sold each of the terminals. This means that it is possible that we have to wait a few days or a few weeks, to receive Android 10 with MIUI 11 in all the units of My 8 Lite and My Max 3.
