When a large part of the world it is closed in their homes to try to slow the advance of the coronavirus, many people have to make calculations for food in this exceptional situation.
Many restaurants have had to close their servicesand don’t even offer a collection service or home delivery, while a few have decided to converted to be able to continue to operate.
Two shortcuts are very helpful in these weeks
As reported by 9to5Google, Google Maps has integrated a functionality that allows us to see which nearby establishments offer in-home service or a collection system.
These are two shortcuts in mobile applications (both in Android as in iOS) that appear in the top leftbefore “gas stations”,”supermarkets”, “pharmacies” and “cafés”.
At the entrance of 9to5Google suggest that is available in the united States and France, but I’ve tried it in Spain and it is already active (and some of the comments already say that it is available in other countries, such as Italy and India).
Clicking on one of these two shortcuts, Google Maps present us with a list of the restaurants around us that offer home delivery or pick up at your local. In addition, as is usual, in some cases, we can see the hours, to the letter, or even make directly the order.
This change binds to other features related to the coronavirus that Google Maps has been integratedas a shortcut to Google search, and a center on the topic, in addition to a notice that appears when searching for health centers.
Disney+ is here: try it free for 7 days. After, 6,99 euros a month or 69,99 euros the annual subscription.
