If a few days ago we saw how YouTube for Android I was testing a new gesture to move the playback to a specific moment in the video now we find out that Google has also added another gesture which is very practical for videos with chapters.
At the end of last year, the application of YouTube renewed its player, and among its novelties came the chapters, a feature that shows us in the supported videos each of its chapters to be able to go directly to the content that interests us in a video. Now we discover that there is a new gesture to move between chapters.

New gesture to advance or rewind chapter
If you are playing a video divided into chapters, you will no longer have to scroll the playback bar for a chapter or display its menu of chapters. Now with a double tap the screen you can move forward or backward chapter.
If with a double touch of the screen with a single finger you can advance the video fragments of 10 seconds, now if you do a double tap screen with two fingers you can change chapters.
If you do the double tap with two fingers on the left of the screen you will go to the next chapter. If you make the gesture on the right side of the screen you will jump to the previous chapter.
It is unknown when the YouTube team has implemented this new gesture that until now had not been discovered or officially announced. The gesture is available in the stable version of YouTube and in its beta versions. It seems that it is being activated from Google’s servers, so it is possible that it has not yet reached the whole world.
