At the end of last year Dacia presented the Dacia Spring, the electric car that aspired to become the “cheapest in Europe”. The company said it would arrive in early 2021 and has not broken its promise, as the Dacia Spring already has official prices in Spain, where, in addition, can now be configured and reserved.
The Dacia Spring starts at 16,548 euros, while the Comfort Plus version amounts to 17,621 euros. Those prices are obviously before you help. In the configurator you can change the body colors and add additional equipment paying the consequent price. It will begin to be delivered from September.
Up to 305 kilometers of autonomy
The Dacia Spring is an A-segment electric SUV, ergo has relatively small dimensions: 3.73 meters long; 1.62 meters wide and 1.41 meters high. The main differences between the Comfort and Comfort Plus models are that the latter has the seven-inch touchscreen, the parking camera, orange mirrors and a spare wheel included, but the engine and its capabilities are the same.
Thus, the Dacia Spring rides a 26.8 kWh battery, which translates into 305 kilometers of autonomy in the WLTP City urban cycle and 230 kilometers in the combined WLTP cycle. The engine is 33 kW, equivalent to about 44 hp, and is capable of offering up to 125 km / h top speed and 125 Nm of torque. It is not exactly a powerful engine, but it makes sense, since the Dacia Spring is designed for urban commutes.

For charging, it will depend on the power of the charger used. With a 2.3 kW charger it is fully charged in 13 hours and a half. With one of 3.7 kW, in eight and a half hours. With a 7.4 kW wallbox in almost five hours and at a fast charge point with a DC charger 80% in 50 minutes. The latter is optional.
The Comfort model By default it comes in kaolin white, but it can be painted blue, red or gray for 450 euros. You can also add a spare wheel for 100 euros and a mode 2 cable for 300 euros. The Comfort Plus model it is only available in gray and comes with all additional equipment. The prices, remember, are the following:
