Red Magic is one of the first brands that opted for gaming mobiles in Spain. With the arrival of a new year, the company has announced its new Red Magic 6, a terminal that once again bets everything to be once again the fastest and most fluid mobile on the market.

Red Magic has presented its new generation of gaming mobiles together with Tencent. As usual, the focus of the Nubia sub-brand has been to offer the best gaming experience, and for yet another year they have raised the bar, a bar that was already high.

As expected, we have Qualcomm’s most powerful processor, the Snapdragon 888, accompanied by 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. In a matter ofhardware there is nothing better today for Android and these features will be a common denominator in the high-end Android. The question then isHow is the Red Magic 6 different to be faster?

The first factor is its screen, which reaches a refresh rate of 165 Hz, positioning itself as the most fluid in the market today. It also has an enhanced touch system, with 360 Hz touch response for multi-touch and 500 Hz for keystrokes, helping to provide the most immediate touch response. Its touch triggers have a 400 Hz response, which is not bad at all.

Red Magic specifies that there are more than 100 games adapted to this refresh rate. The screen also has a variable refresh rate of 60, 90, 120 and 165 Hz.

On the other hand we have an active cooling system with an internal fan. By being able to keep the processor cooler it is able to maintain maximum performance without having to reduce performance to keep the temperature under limits.

This year we have two versions. The Red Magic 6 has a larger battery (5050 mAh compared to the 4500 mAh of the 6 Pro) while the Pro model has a fast charge (120 W compared to 66 W of the normal model). Although there will be an international version, they have been presented today in China with the following prices:

• Red Magic 6 of 8 GB and 128 GB from 3799 yuan: about 487 euros to change.
• Red Magic 6 Pro of 12 GB and 128 GB from 4399 yuan: about 565 euros to change.
