Vivo is a brand that has gained a presence in Spain, where it has already updated all its phones to Android 11. The manufacturer continues to present new phones, which we hope will reach our country as well. Its two new phones are the Vivo S9 and S9e, two smartphones that are within the upper-middle range of the brand.
These new Vivo S9 and S9e are devices with a design similar to the S7t, introduced recently. The interesting thing is that the S9 becomes the first phone to use Dimensity 1100, a MediaTek processor that has not yet been officially unveiled.

Two identical models
These two devices have the same design, with a 6.44-inch size AMOLED panel, which is also the same size and design that we saw in the S7t a few weeks ago. On the front of the Vivo S9 we have two cameras, the same as the Vivo S7t, while the S9e leaves us with a single 32 Mpx sensor. The panel also has a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
The Vivo S9 becomes the first on using Dimensity 1100 from MediaTek, a processor that is not official yet, so not much is known. Although it seems to be a high-end chip of the brand, which also provides 5G connectivity as standard in this case. The Vivo S9e uses Dimensity 820, a familiar mid-range chip that we’ve seen in various phones so far.
The rear cameras are the same in these two devices: 64 Mpx main sensor, an 8 Mpx ultra wide angle and a 2 Mpx macro sensor. A good combination of sensors, which we are seeing a lot in the mid and high range on Android. In addition, the two already come with Origin OS as an interface, based on Android 11.
As for battery, the Vivo S9 arrives with 4,000 mAh capacity, with support for fast charging of 33W. The S9e has a slightly larger battery, 4,100 mAh, although nothing has been mentioned about its fast charging.
Price and availability
The Vivo S9 will go on sale over the next few days in Asia, with a price of 308 euros to change. It will be available in Diamond Crystal, Aurora Blue and Obsidian Black colors. At the moment nothing is known about its launch in Spain, pending news from the brand. The S9e will also be launched these next few days, but it has no confirmed price yet.
