The new Xiaomi Redmi AirDots 3 arrive with a new audio chip designed by Qualcomm, the QCC3040, which among other things makes the headphones compatible with devices with Bluetooth 5.2. This chip also offers a faster connection at pairing time, an improved and more stable transmission speed, and thus lower playback latency.
With a virtually identical design to his predecessors, Xiaomi’s AirDots 3 offer up to 7 hours of uninterrupted playback with a single charge, and we can extend the autonomy up to 30 hours thanks to the slightly more than three additional charges provided by the carrying case. A case that has a 600Mhz internal battery, by the way.

The headphones have touch controls and are compatible with the Chinese firm’s XiaoAI voice assistant, although we do not know if it will be compatible with others such as Alexa or Assistant when it crosses the borders of your country. AirDots 3 have IPX7 protection, so they can be used without problem for sports.
In addition to this, the Xiaomi Redmi AirDots 3 incorporate a system of “environmental noise reduction “ which is noticeable especially in calls, although the firm refuses to call it noise cancellation, so it may simply be a matter of design and coupling to our ear.
Versions and prices of the Xiaomi Redmi AirDots 3
Xiaomi’s new compact wireless headphones land on the Chinese market at a price of 199 euros, approximately 25 euros to change. Arrive in black, pink and white and they will be commercialized from next March 4. Its arrival on the international market is not yet confirmed.
