As Android has become a more mature system and the need for modifications to mobile phones has been declining. Currently it is still possible to install ROMs or modify the bootloader of certain models, but it is not as necessary as before.
Despite that, there are users who want to be able to tinker with their devices and today we have good news for Huawei or Honor mobile owners with Kirin 960, 659 and 655 processors.
Developer Andrey Smirnoff has managed to crack the bootloader unlock code generation algorithm for devices using these processors.

How to unlock the bootloader with PotatoNV
The developer himself explains what the procedure is on the GitHub page of his tool, called PotatoNV, which we can download for free, of course.
Right there we have instructions to solve some of the problems that we may have when carrying out the process. As always, these types of actions are not intended for the general public, but for those who want to modify their cell phones in ways normally prohibited by brands.
The entry 18 mobile phones from Honor and Huawei can now unlock their bootloader appears first in The Free Android.
